Part-time Customer Service Representative/Enrollment Agent I (Daytime Hours)
COLSA Corporation is seeking an entry level Ground Systems Controller (Systems Analyst 1). This candidate will work in a control room environment to provide ground system support services for the International Space Station Payload Operations Center, Space Launch System Engineering Support Center, and other NASA programs. The Ground Systems Controller is responsible for configuring, monitoring, and recovering critical ground systems services required to support Space Station scientists and payload developers world-wide. Critical services include telemetry receipt, routing and archival, payload commanding, voice/video distribution, and configuration management systems. Operations are conducted 365x24x7. THE INDIVIDUAL SELECTED MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS (11 P.M. TO 7 A.M., 7 A.M. TO 3 P.M., AND 3 P.M. TO 11 P.M.). THE INDIVIDUAL SELECTED WILL BE EXPECTED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS THAT FALL DURING HER/HIS SCHEDULED WORK WEEK.

Required Skills Required Experience
Must have an Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent related experience (4 years of related experience may be substituted for degree)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (US Citizenship is required)
Must have working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs required
The individual selected must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays (40 hours per week)
Must have excellent writing and speaking skills
Must be able to complete a long-term goal in a timely manner; the candidate will undergo an intense and rigorous training program and must successfully complete the program in order retain their position and become console-certified
Must be able to work well in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field preferred
Experience that demonstrates the ability to work well under pressure
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Microsoft command line functions preferred
Previous experience working in a help desk call center, computer systems maintenance, plant operations, etc. preferred
An interest in NASA and the space program

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Must be at least 21 years of age; be able to read, write and speak the English language so as to be able to deliver verbal and written reports and or presentations to the client, character above reproach, valid state driver’s and security licenses; no felony convictions; no conviction or under indictment for domestic violence; pre-employment suitability investigation spanning a minimum of five years; ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination and drug screening; ability to pass physical agility tests, weapons qualification, and other requisite training.
EDUCATION
Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the law enforcement, security management, or related fields. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Law enforcement and or security support services of ten plus (10+) may be substituted for educational requirements.
TRAINING
Applicant must have an excellent working knowledge of access control systems and of protection criteria for sensitive/classified materials and facilities. The candidate must show the ability to supervise subordinates in an effective and professional manner.
Applicant must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
EXPERIENCE
Applicant must have at least five years of experience within the field of security and in providing advice and assistance to the management of a protective force and or security related organization of similar size.
Applicant must have demonstrated especially effective leadership and team-building skills.
Applicant should have experience in labor relations, logistics, communications and armory operations. Applicant must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
Applicant must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications
Applicant must be able to work various shifts, to include weekends and Holidays
Applicant must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision
