    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a Product Marketing Director to join our team in Franklin, TN.  The Product Marketing Director is the “voice of the customer” and chief product evangelist for the Citizen Services business line’s portfolio of products using biometric technology to enhance the safety and security of individuals in public places including speeding entrance to events, managing authorized access to locations within venues, and expediting sales processing – increasing security and convenience for corporations, vendors, and consumers. Trusted Fan by IDEMIA improves the fan experience while ensuring safety, and the services can vary by venue: stadium, theme parks, concerts… With pre-verified fan identities, security measures can be adapted.

    • Once the registration is done via the application, in a few clicks, the Trusted Fan will only need his or her biometrics to access the event using Fast Pass lanes at security
    • The Trusted Fan can also preregister credit card details for faster payments at the event, and use the same application for licensefree 21+ age verification for adult beverage access (available in jurisdictions where legally permitted).
    • And to improve the experience from the very beginning, the Trusted Fan can reserve a parking spot and pay parking fees before getting to the event!

    The Product Marketing Director drives the product roadmap, GTM, and launch plans based on business line objectives, customer needs and market opportunities. In addition, this role will identify category trends, guide business model and pricing decisions, and develop messaging and market positioning to support various launches and in-markets services. This role will also work directly with business leaders and key stakeholders to help identify and define new product and service offerings that support IDEMIA’s growth targets.   

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO):

    • Drive the product roadmap based on business line objectives, customer requirements, competitive intelligence, market needs, and opportunities for innovation
    • Partner with internal stakeholders including business line leaders, Product Management, and Product Development to ensure product roadmap and marketing programs align with business objectives
    • Collaborate with internal teams to analyze customer and product needs, and define TAM
    • Define customer and product needs; create the MRD for all products in your product portfolio
    • Define product value propositions, messaging, positioning, campaign and communication objectives based on a deep understanding of customer need and product offering
    • Develop marketing strategies and execute marketing plans in collaboration with business line leaders, Product Management, Product Development, Sales, Business Development
    • Develop and execute strategic GTM and launch plans for both North America and Global markets
    • Develop and implement brand strategy, in collaboration with internal Communications team, and external agencies as applicable
    • Operate as the product evangelist; develop and deliver product training including product messaging, positioning, and value props to internal teams, including Sales, Business Development, Proposals, Leaders, and cross-functional teams; provide training to partners, distributors, and customers as needed
    • Enable Sales to meet business line objectives – provide product and roadmap education, collateral, presentations, promotional material, product web presence
    • Manage campaigns and marketing plans to meet business line and product objectives on schedule and within budget
    • Ensure positioning and messaging is being delivered for target personas and is consistent across web, social media, email and print
    • Recommend and contribute to industry events to support product launch/growth as needed
    • Collaborate with pricing team to ensure product pricing strategy is in line with the market, competitive landscape, and business line goals
    • Analyze the ROI of marketing campaigns/programs; apply lessons learned for continual improvement
    • In addition to the Essential Functions, also performs similar work-related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex subjects into easily understood communications
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively at all levels of a global corporation, and to lead the product marketing effort for the Citizen Services business line portfolio of products
    • A passionate interest in innovation and technology
    • Ability to effectively apply analysis and insight to plans and execution of plans; project management experience highly preferred

    Required Experience

    • BA/BS in Marketing/Communications or closely related field; Master's degree a plus
    • 8 + years experience in a senior product marketing role analyzing customer, market, and product requirements developing product requirements and marketing plans, and executing on plan. Emphasis on biometrics and/or identity security technology products preferred.

     

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENT, WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Occasional overnight travel as required; should not exceed 30% of the time
    • General office environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
    • Office environment where the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
