  • Responsibilities

    Directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs for both staff and customers, aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company.  Collaborates with functional management and product teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs, as well as consistency and effectiveness of established programs and courses.  Provides both Basic and/or Advanced subject matter expert (SME) training on Biometrics (e.g., face, tattoo) as needed by company strategy.  Also collaborates with product development and engineering to provide SME expertise and end-user feedback on products and their use.  Facilitates establishment of an online Learning Management System and policies regarding its use.  Develops a program delivery schedule for new online offerings and coordinates this with existing in person training.  Provides engaging communications and briefings, both internal and external, about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training.  Works with Marketing and Proposals to highlight and include training offerings in corporate publications, industry events, and contracts.  Develops and coordinates annual User Conference (UC) workshops and training with UC management and product development group.  Approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to training programs and methods.  Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors, organizations, and universities to provide additional outside training programs and/or promotion of company training offerings.  Manages and develops internal training professionals as needed

    • Ability to confidently interface and work cross functionally with all levels and departments
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of success
    • Excellent skills with MS Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)

    Required Experience

    • Master of Science
    • Minimum ten years of experience developing and/or providing educational offerings, along with solid knowledge of biometrics subject matter and overall departmental function

     

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENT, WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Travel requirement, such as:

    • Frequent overnight travel is required; up to 50% of the time
    • Travel will be required both domestically and internationally; should not exceed 30-50% of the time, but may be more than 50% during key projects
