    ROLE:

    IDEMIA Identity & Security North America is seeking a talented Lead Architect to research, design, and develop a cloud native platform with first-class API’s to enable business unit engineering teams to rapidly innovate secure, compliant, highly available, and functional services. In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Identifying core services development teams of multi-tenant business applications require to rapidly innovate.
    • Leads one or more foundation team in the creation of core services through a combination of CSP PaaS, COTS, and custom code that result in a set of platform API’s for consumption by other development teams.
    • Influencing application business and engineering leadership to adopt API platform through documentation, reference code, education, evangelism, and mentorship.
    • Researching cloud native tools, technologies, methodologies, and patterns to adopt for platform.
    • Challenging the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
    • Ensuring foundation API meets KPI’s for security, availability, compliance, scalability, adoption, and satisfaction.
    • Providing architectural consulting to internal projects regarding cloud migration and API adoption.
    • Representing business unit on the global Cloud Center of Excellence Application Engineering working group.

    Required Skills

     

    • Proven foundational libraries and services consumed by internal development teams.
    • Proven cloud native design, development, and delivery to a public cloud.
    • Proven experience in the development of secure, available, compliant, scalable, and functional services.
    • Proven ability to influence leadership towards a vision and execution of the vision.
    • Proven experience in DevSecOps practices.
    • A bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, or equivalent is required. An advance degree is preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect is preferred.
    • FedRAMP experience desired.

     

     

    Required Experience

    BSCS or technical field - MS preferred

    10+ years of experience in product development including API development.
