  • Responsibilities
    • Act in a supervisory capacity, directing other program personnel in the prioritization and execution of hundreds of award and decoration packets for review and approval by senior leadership.
    • Provide daily management of driver/courier contract personnel supporting the Joint Program Office. Activities will including employee counseling, hiring recommendations and coordination, assignment of daily taskings and related supervisory activities. 
    • Monitor packet development and execution by contract team personnel and coordinate for government review and approval.
    • Responsible for calendar management activities conducted by contract team personnel and providing status to the Chief of Staff as needed.
    • Represent the Chief of Staff in directing contract team personnel to execute transportation and logistics in support of senior leader movements and events.
    • Manage implementation of driver/escort duties during non-core hours, including management and oversight of personnel involved in monitoring non-cleared construction personnel performing building renovations.
    • Supervise execution of visitor controls by contract team personnel to include ensuring visitors understand where to receive badges, identification of locations and times of meetings, and escorting as needed. Support may include interaction with senior defense officials, political appointees, foreign officials and other senior personnel.
    • Manage activities in support of senior leader events, including Joint Program Office Strategic Program Reviews, coordination with foreign commercial, military and diplomatic personnel associated with F-35 Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and presentations to members of Congress and senior administration officials.
    • As needed, augment other contract personnel in proof-reading and editing documents associated with awards and decorations. Monitor the Management and tracking of award packets using existing databases and coordinate revisions as necessary prior to submission.
      • Coordinate, facilitate, and document meetings and conferences.
      • Review and approve agendas in support of the Chief of Staff that guide meetings towards desired outcomes.
      • Design and develop executive level briefings, documents that effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas to assist leadership in conveying messages.
      • Ensure adequate time is available for presentations and discussions.
      • Facilitate computer software support for briefings, brochures, documents, and multimedia presentations.
      • Manage support provided by team contract personnel to executive level meetings, acting as the primary point of contact for conferences and VTCs held within the Management Information Center (MIC); will monitor scheduling of VTC’s, supervise VTC setup as needed.
      • Monitor configuration of the executive offices and conference room.
      • Facilitate data gathering and develop tools to support various leadership forums. Typical products may include but are not limited to: briefs, posters, paintings, brochures, point papers, fact sheets, and communiqués on strategic level topics.
      • Manage established information management system for the maintenance of corporate reference files to allow for timely retrieval and archiving of data and information.
    • Incumbent will operate within the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and other systems (SharePoint, VTC support, and DTS) on a daily basis.    
    • Position will take direction from the Chief of Staff and others in the reporting chain.
    • Work hours will extend from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

    • Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance. On site office space will be available, but the employee must also be able to work from home as needed.
    • Must be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Must possess demonstrated knowledge and experience applying analytic methodologies and principles to address customer needs. Resume must clearly articulate prior assignments with the type and duration of analytical experience.
    • Must be fluent in the English language and able to communicate complicated concepts to an English-speaking only audience comprised of mid to senior-level managers/leaders.
