POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Training Coordinator reports to the Training Manager and is responsible for overseeing the delivery of training, as well as proving instruction and training reports as needed.
PRIMARY/MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Coordinate and supervise training under the OPO-Training IDIQ, ATTACHMENT 2, Training of this contract.
- Provide instruction as required under the bodyguard, protective operations, guard, surveillance detection, and firearms training deliveries.
- Supervise weapons qualifications and training in specified TO locations.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct weapons qualifications and training.
- Ensure that all equipment, weapons, ammunition, and materials are on-hand for training.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on the curriculum and other requirements contained in the OPO-Training IDIQ, ATTACHMENT 2, Training of this contract.
- Observe, evaluate, and assist instructors in maintaining standards and improving instruction.
- Evaluate training for quality control and contract compliance.
- Develop and submit reports to the DT on the above responsibilities.
- Deliver instruction as required, with exception to driving and tactical medicine instruction, unless bio approved for those labor categories.
