    The Donor Operations Coordinator will primarily be responsible for quick, accurate, and timely entry of gift information into the Raiser’s Edge database. Additional responsibilities include assisting with routine database cleanup (QA processes, merging duplicate records) and other tasks as needed such as entry of new constituents into the Raiser’s Edge database, gift receipt production, database maintenance, and routine administrative support. The Coordinator should understand best practices in data management, be able to identify and adapt to shifting priorities, be flexible and resourceful, and exercise professionalism and discretion in working with confidential information. 

     

     

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Primarily responsible for performing high volume gift entry into the Raiser’s Edge database. Ensure gift entry follows the organization’s coding guidelines for generating acknowledgement letters, receipts, and reports.
    • Process tribute gifts and handle all data entry associated with sensitive donor information.
    • Process in-house credit card charges, and enter transactions into Raiser’s Edge.
    • Perform data entry of constituent biographical information, including attributes, relationships, events, actions, and notes into Raiser’s Edge.
    • Responsible for generating tax receipts and acknowledgements.
    • Manage the batch filling system, and provide backup support during the annual audit procedure.
    • Aid in production of queries and reports from Raiser’s Edge as needed.
    • Support the Donor Operations team in performing quality assurance on all data entry, and assist with online and offline database cleanup, including record merges.
    • Perform other administrative assignments as needed.

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, HS Diploma/GED required, plus 1-2 years of experience in non-profit or other office setting.
    • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge/RE NXT or other fundraising database preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Luminate experience is a plus.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communications (including verbal and written) skills and cultural competencies, underscored by strong emotional intelligence.
    • Integrity and discretion, and a strong work ethic.
    • Demonstrated interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty issues.
    • Highly organized with the ability to handle differing projects and priorities while coordinating workflow in a deadline-driven and service-focused environment.
    • Must be proactive and a self-starter, with excellent problem-solving and implementation skills.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and to work well as a member of a team.
