    Job Description

    II-VI Aerospace & Defense designs, manufactures, assembles and tests precision optical systems and components.     BASIC FUNCTION:

    Pull requested data and documentation, prepare schedules and reconciliations using excel formulas and pivot tables, our IFS ERP system, Power Point, and various other sources for review by Operations Controller in support of:

    • Budgets, Forecasts, and Forward Pricing Rates
    • Provisional Billing Rate Submissions and updates
    • Proposal and Price audit efforts by customers including DCMA/DCAA
    • Out of scope proposals to customers including DCMA/DCAA
    • Completion of Incurred Cost Submission (ICS)
    • Audits of ICS
    • Accounting System audits
    • Other DCAA and customer audits
    • Absorption Analysis
    • EAC rates analysis
    • EVMS review and audits including internal audits
    • Policy and work instruction review, audit, updates and training including floor checks.

    Research discrepancies and provide all facts and circumstances surrounding discrepancies to Operations Controller for disposition. Prepare internal Project related reports such as Program Dashboard, EAC review materials, Risk Dashboard, MBR schedules, Program review schedules, and other reports as the need arises. Support the program office by providing systemic reports of gross margin and cost. Support the Project Cost managers by providing project cost reports as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION:

    B.S. Degree with a major in Accounting

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    2 years of experience in accounting using an ERP system and excel. Construction or other Project experience preferred. Experience performing reconciliations and supporting audits in a large manufacturing company also preferred.

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

    1. Proficient Excel skill required
    2. Accounting Experience is required.
    3. Reconciliation experience is preferred.
    4. Accounting for construction or other types of projects is preferred.
    5. Supporting Accounting audit request experience is preferred.
    6. Good Attendance in support of time sensitive tasks is required.
