About the Role:

Cross County Medical Care is seeking an International Medical Graduate (IMG) for a Chart Review position based in Bellerose, NY. Responsibilities:

Review and audit patient medical charts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

Identify discrepancies, missing documentation, and coding inconsistencies in medical records

Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure proper documentation standards

Apply clinical knowledge to support accurate medical coding and billing processes

Ensure medical records comply with regulatory and payer requirements

Generate reports and summaries based on chart review findings

Support quality improvement initiatives through thorough medical record analysis

Requirements:

International Medical Graduate (IMG) with an MD or equivalent medical degree

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation

Experience with medical chart review, auditing, or health information management preferred

Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT coding, and medical billing practices is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
