    IMI is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to establish and manage extraordinary relationships at our top commercial tire dealers to increase profitability and drive sales. The successful Inside Salesperson is a charismatic, results-oriented person who has the ability to effectively connect with others to orchestrate activities between Distributors, Dealers and Fleets and negotiate deals.     Qualifications:

    B2B sales skills and experience with a recent track record of successful results in selling a specific product or service and the ability to follow a structured sales process using strong questioning skills. Experience dealing with multiple locations is required.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in prospecting, building and nurturing strong relationships with various buyer types.

    Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

    Self-motivated, resourceful and able to operate independently to maintain focus and productivity.

    Knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment including a PC, MS Office products and mobile communication devices. Proficiency with PowerPoint and Word is required. Excel is a plus.

    Ability to function within IMI’s Business Model which requires persistence and nurturing skills to succeed in longer term sales partnerships.

    Commercial Tire, Transportation, Trucking Industry and Fleet experience is highly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Consistently deliver strong sales results to meet and exceed company revenue plans.

    Assess and build relationships and strategies with existing Key Accounts.

    Develop sales and prospecting plans to create fleet demand to enhance existing relationships and increase sales.

    Make sales calls to develop new business.

    Conduct high level business conversations with decision-makers to review ROI opportunities.

    Provide product training to include PowerPoint presentations and webinars.

    Enter customer orders and follow them through to completion, keeping customers updated on order fulfillment.

    Create cases pertaining to customer issues and work collaboratively with others to resolve customer issues and close cases.

    Qualifications:

    Education: General and business education equivalent to a high school diploma (some advanced education at the Associate degree level preferred).

    Experience: 3 – 4 years of progressive experience in sales administration and/or business office operations. Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.

    Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills to work effectively with company colleagues, distributors, and customers.

    Exceptional phone etiquette and listening skills.

    Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

    Ability to think critically to resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.

    Ability to learn, understand, and follow complex processes.

    Must be collaborative, organized, and detail oriented.

    Understanding of credit policies and practices as well as shipping policies and practices.

    Familiarity with PCs and applicable software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.

    Adaptability to undertake assignments outside of the usual scope of the position’s responsibilities.

    Sufficient manual dexterity for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment.

    Ability to understand customer needs and identify sales opportunities.

    Ability to achieve targets.
