    Purpose:

    The Marketing Brand Specialist will work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to affect IMI’s sales growth, brand awareness, customer conversion, and retention. This role is critical in implementing strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring brand standards are consistent across the organization, and all aspects of our comprehensive IMI University online learning engagement program.

    This position will hold responsibility to conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of branded marketing materials and sales enablement tools, and contribute to the overall digital strategy of monitoring and analyzing key digital marketing metrics across all platforms tracking success against departmental and organizational goals.

    Additionally, this role acts as a lead brand advocate for the organization focusing on brand recognition and education supporting account planning activities to achieve organizational goals.

    Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

    1. BRAND ADVOCACY

    Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.

    Inform category growth strategies and initiatives including, but not limited to executing analytical deep dives that help evaluate competitor marketing.

    Identify opportunities to enrich understanding of customer motivations, beliefs, and behaviors to inform business planning and execution.

    Fully manage production of our video content, including but not limited to the conceptualization, defining of objectives, writing of creative briefs, filming, editing, and optimization efforts.

    Create, optimize, and edit other communications and website content in collaboration with the various needs to support initiatives and reinforce IMI’s brand, image, and message.

    1. MANAGEMENT OF IMI UNIVERSITY

    Responsible for researching, selecting, crafting, and distributing internal and external training courses and working closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to ensure integration of our key messaging into all content of IMI University learning tracks.

    Leverage IMI U online learning and audience segmentation approach by developing support campaigns in collaboration with the sales and service teams. Including but not limited to, university enrollments, customized value calculations, and other special programs as needed.

    Schedule regular calls and leads review meetings with sales to manage customer university participation, acquire lists, and follow-up reporting to evaluate and optimize our training program.

    Continuously improve the quality and depth of training content across various platforms and channels.

    1. LEAD DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY EFFORTS

    Research keywords related to our solutions, monitor and analyze google analytics translating the data for the team into actionable insights on our digital marketing performance.

    Assist in analyzing other marketing data analytics to determine efficiency and help shape future strategic marketing decisions.

    Analyze search engine optimization (SEO) data with the goals of increasing the quality of organic web traffic, improve the search rankings of the IMI website, and develop strategies that lead to more middle of the funnel conversions.

    Maximize the impact of digital marketing investments by developing and implementing detailed project planning and regular performance analysis reporting.

    Continuously evaluate the performance of digital marketing programs recommending improvements including, but not limited to address content quality, user experience, cost reduction and/or productivity.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing

    Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in marketing, and sales or customer service and a minimum of 3 years of work experience with web-based CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred) and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of digital marketing.

    Skills & Abilities

    Strong understanding of business development activities and the ability to support the execution of market-facing programs.

    Excellent level of personal organization, collaboration skills, and effective oral/written communication skills.

    Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, website analytics, email marketing, and content management.

    Proven business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities

    Strong creative design skills, ability to distill complex ideas into simple graphic visuals

    Experience in Microsoft Outlook and Excel required. Adobe Creative Suite, preferred

    Experience with online learning management software preferred.

    Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision.

    Able to sit for extended time periods.

    Able to lift 50lbs

    Knowledge/understanding of transportation services industry is preferred.
