About the Role:

Join Lina Vivas Maintenance Inc. in Jamaica, NY, for an exciting opportunity as a Porter/Janitorial staff member! We are urgently hiring dedicated individuals to maintain cleanliness and ensure a welcoming environment for our clients and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.

Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.

Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed.

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.

Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to all clients.

Requirements:

Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Excellent time management skills and reliability.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
