We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team for a immediate project at ODU University. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas to promote hygiene.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is preferred but not required.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or prolonged standing.
• Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.

Hours

• Monday- Friday 8am-4pm
• Must be able to start Friday, August 1st at 8am!!
