Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery van
• Start and finish each shift at the DMD2 delivery station in Edgewood
• Load, organize, and deliver packages to homes and businesses
• Use a company-provided device for navigation and delivery information
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and customer delivery instructions
• Get in and out of the delivery van throughout the shift
• Deliver packages safely and on time
• Communicate with dispatch throughout the day
• Provide professional and friendly customer service
• Keep the assigned delivery vehicle clean and report any safety or maintenance concerns
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

SCHEDULE

• Approximately 10-hour shifts
• Three to five days per week
• Weekday and weekend shifts available
• Full-time and part-time schedules available
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays
• Consistent schedules offered based on business needs and employee availability

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• No CDL required
• Must consent to required background and motor vehicle record checks
• Must be able to safely operate and navigate a delivery van
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit the delivery van
• Must be comfortable walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, and standing during the shift
• Must be able to work in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions
• Must be reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
• Must be available for at least one weekend day when required
