  • Responsibilities

    We are currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator for a local food company. Candidate will be supporting the procurement of supplies, contract execution, relationship management, inventory control, and forecast of maintenance inventory(MRO). 

    Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

    • Reviewing purchase requisitions
    • Generating purchase orders 
    • Supporting Purchasing Management during contract negotiations 
    • Responsible for solving all stock-out situations. 
    • Responsible for Item Master Data creation and maintenance of it.
    • Working alongside Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies
    • Will lead and assure all claims and complaints are handled in a responsive matter
    • Support other departments with purchasing, inventory movement, buyer operations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 1-3 years Supply Chain Planning and Purchasing experience
    • Strong Analytical, planning, and organizational skills 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • ERP System knowledge (QAD, TELNET, MP2, & EAM)
    • Some college coursework in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, and or Industrial Tech preferred but not required.
