    KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    The Business Operations Manager will work as a right-hand person to the COO and will be responsible for assigned business management functions within the corporate operations, including contracts management, organizational analysis and development, and assist in defining the needs and objectives of each department to further assist in automating functions and streamlining operations. This role will own projects that cross every department at IMRI. This is a very data driven role but the ideal candidate should be able to quickly understand the 'big picture' of a specific objective, and then be able to break down the more tactical activities that go along with it.

    1. Manages and processes corporate and client contracts with specific tasks including drafting, reviewing, tracking, and negotiating contracts and working with In-House Attorney.Must have a willingness to learn more about federal and commercial contractual policies and regulations.

    2. Maintains corporate records and applications and renewals of business certifications.

    3. Organizing and maintaining contracts database and records management.

    4. Works with COO to Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase business efficiency adding automation where possible (Process, Procedures and Systems). Develops policies and procedures for business operations within the Operations Guide ensuring compliance - designing workflows & working with all teams to integrate business processes throughout the organization.  

    5. Performs a full range of responsible analytical and administrative duties in support of assigned programs, functions, and/or departments involving the use of independent judgment and personal initiative. Research and analyze issues and problems and prepare recommendations.

    6. Leads and/or participates in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing internal and externalrelationships.

    7. Preparing of Department status reports (as required).

      EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS

    8. Requires a Master's Degree in Business Administration or a field directly related to the type of work being performed.

    9. Three to four years of professional contractual, administrative, or business experience related to the type of work being performed is required.

    10. Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

    11. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

    12. Ability to collaborate and work in a team oriented environment.

    13. Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills with keen attention to detail.

    14. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    15. Must be able to be cleared for a federal security clearance.
