JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a qualified Application Engineer to work in an internationally operating and rapidly growing high-tech company. After an initial training period of several months, Successful candidate will work with our technology at the most advanced companies in the semiconductor industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide 1st level application support by operating advanced nano-lithography mask making equipment, monitoring the performance, and analyzing data in order to offer solutions - both independently and as well as in the team
- Responsible for tool optics and corrections evaluation, adjustments on the tool and documentation of results in alignment with Senior Applications support.
- Tuning and controlling all relevant tool corrections.
- Responsible for resolving known problems and supporting solutions to new problems related to tool write performance.
- Support preparation and re-qualification before and after PMs
- Identify issues and align for actions to resolve (documentation, escalation, driving path forward for resolution in cooperation with local team).
- Prepare standard job decks, e.g. for tool health checks, drift tuning, pre-APM assessment and other purposes.
- Execute standard tasks, standard log and data gathering, standard tool operation, tool updates, standard tool health checks (in-situ optical checks, drift)
- Consults and supports the teams in Vienna in evaluation of tool performance.
- Document results of regular checks, processes and problem cases and forms an important communication interface to the second level support.
- Travel to other US sites to support the team or perform trainings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a higher technical or scientific degree (e.g. physics, chemistry, electrical engineering) and are interested in continuous further development.
- You are able to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. You can convey complex technical content clearly and competently.
- You enjoy challenges and make full use of your analytical skills, your technical knowledge and your interpersonal skills.
- You are tech-savvy, organized, assertive and a likeable team member.
- You are resilient, can deal with stress and quick decisions and are willing to work flexibly.
- Willingness to Travel to Austria or other countries for training up to 2 months/year
- Python, Office solutions and Linux experience are beneficial.
- Experience in electron beam lithography and mask making are beneficial but not required.
