EHS COORDINATOR (BILINGUAL IN KOREAN & ENGLISH) @ GRAND BK, CORP. (CARLSTADT, NJ)
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the development and implementation of environmental, health compliance programs.
Conduct site inspections and participate in EHS auditing in all company entities
Assist with the collection of EHS metrics and reports.
Support injury/illness record keeping & reporting to Manager.
Implement Workers' Compensation & GL claims and programs.
Applying for required environmental, health and Hygiene permits occasionally, or License annually.
Arrange annual company hygiene inspection and flu-shot event.
Assist in safety committees and safety awareness programs.
Participate in job safety analysis, and Root Cause Incident investigations
Assist with emergency response, evacuation planning, and annual employee training.
Require to work in an administrative assistant capacity in addition to EHS coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
An associate's degree, but a bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Safety, Environmental Health, Bio/Chemistry, Engineering or related field or is preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of OSHA, FDA and EPA regulations, state requirements are a plus.
Ability to assess and implement EHS best practices.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Korean
Works well under pressure, effectively handles conflict, strict deadlines and multiple tasks.
Excellent organization, record keeping and documentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, and Driving Skill required.
2-3 years of related experiences required.
