    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Venture Investment Associate is corporate venture investment function and is responsible for a range of projects and initiatives, including portfolio companies monitoring & communication, new deals search, target industry research, M&A deals support, and internal reporting & communication support. The associate will support venture investment & M&A deals with analytical rigor and business insights. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Portfolio companies monitoring & communication
    • Target industry research. Generate reports & New deals search
    • M&A deals support
    • Internal reporting & communication support
    • Collaborate effectively with HHI and other affiliates members and management
    • Structure complex business problems into project frameworks that can be analyzed and solved
    • Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, competitor dynamics and current events to provide relevant business insights
    • Perform quantitative analysis, including building and organizing large datasets
    • Build business cases in support of key decisions and growth opportunities
    • Synthesize findings and summarize a broad range of data inputs into frameworks that enable clear communication of data and insights
    • Communicate findings to HHI and its global affiliates including group H.Q. in an insightful and persuasive manner
    • MBA or comparable advanced degree, a plus
    • Minimum of 3 years of work experience at a consulting firm, financial institution or other large company in a strategy or M&A group, a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly
    • Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent research skills with experience in market and company analysis
    • Strong analytical approach; structured thinker
    • Team player with experience working both in teams and as an individual contributor
    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Previous experience working in a multinational company, preferred
