LOGISTICS SYSTEM PROGRAMMING ENGINEER (BILINGUAL IN KOREAN AND ENGLISH) – TORRANCE, CA

SUMMARY:

The Process Innovation Department (IT) is currently looking for an individual that can develop and manage a third-party logistics system. The position requires general knowledge of WMS and prefer experiences with developing other logistic related systems such as TMS and YMS. Along with managing the logistics system, you may also be required to customize the current existing systems or develop new system modules when they are requested by employees and customers. An understanding of the logistics business due to high levels of communications between the field employees and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

• Maintenance and development of WPS/WMS system
• Respond when a system exception occurs
• Customize the system according to the needs of customers and the site
• Logistics system design and development such as TMS and YMS
• Web system maintenance and development for internal customers and affiliates

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience in developing and operating systems related to logistics and services
• Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Database and SQL technology
• Experience in developing web-based applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able and willing to provide training to non-technical users of systems
• Able to travel as necessary to fulfill the duties
• A commitment to on-going personal development and willingness to attend appropriate training courses
• English and Korean bilingual
• Experienced with Javascript, JAVA, and Oracle development is a must
• Preferred experience with HTML5/CSS development
• Preferred experience developing Spring Framework and Yii2 Framework
• Preferred experience using / operating GIT and Jenkins
