  • Responsibilities

    HR Generalists have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. If you have a passion for HR, are familiar with labor law and look to kick-start your career in the field, this is the place to be. You'll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You'll act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department's operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ÿ Assist with all internal and external HR related matters

    Ÿ Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures

    Ÿ Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates

    Ÿ Investigate complaints brought forward by employees

    Ÿ Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment, pay and workplace laws and regulations.

    Ÿ Partner closely with Legal, Payroll to establish alignment and respond to compliance inquiries.

    Ÿ Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices

    Ÿ Provide support in all HR – related disciplines, including, but not limited to, organizational development, employee relations, talent management, organizational redesign, and performance management and employee development.

    Ÿ Coordinate and execute all aspects of bringing onboard a new employee including scheduling orientation, preparing new hire packets, collecting and processing new hire paperwork, interfacing with payroll/benefits.

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • Ÿ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or the related field is required
    • Ÿ 1-2 years of HR experience preferred
    • Ÿ Basic knowledge of COBRA, diversity/EEO, FMLA, and related state and federal regulations is preferred and must have a strong intellectual curiosity to stay informed against complaint with employment laws and HR practice
    • Ÿ Strong employee relations, attention to details, and communication skills across all levels of the organization
    • Ÿ Work comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
    • Ÿ Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Ÿ Meticulous attention to detail
    • Ÿ Fluency in Korean and English is preferred

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
    • 1+ years human resources experience
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
