H Mart is an Asian-American supermarket chain that has been in business for over 30 years, specializing in Asian and Western groceries, fresh/frozen meats, seafood and produce.

66 H Mart stores in 12 states are operated by five modern warehouse/distribution centers, one primary food processing facility, and over 4,600 passionate employees that have supported each store every day.

CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT (BILINGUAL IN KOREAN AND ENGLISH) - ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (REPORTING TEAM)

RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Processing and reviewing H Mart new stores payments (i.e construction or supplies) and budgeting char from correspondent department (asset, it, marketing, design) in accordance with timeline and procedures.

• Control and manage Gift Certificates

• Gift certificate printing company located in Korea in a timely order.

• Work with team members to facilitate daily work process.

• Prepare Weekly GP reports – including monthly for DC's (Utilize SAP to)

• Manage the monthly financial closing process to ensure all transactions are properly stated based on US GAAP

• Work with the external auditors to process internal control understanding, quarterly, review and annual audit

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• Bilingual in Korean and English 

• Knowledge in SAP is preferred

• Experience in the related field is preferred
