Logistics Planner (Specialist or Assistant Manager)
MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads, tender freight to third-party carriers.
o Update Transportation Management System with current shipment information.
o Provide detailed instruction to various customers & associates from other shifts by phone and e-mail.
o Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process over-sight,
auditing, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
o Complete daily logs and trackers.
o Provides load exception investigation and reporting.
o Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
o Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
o Minimum (1) plus year of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast paced environment
o Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
o Excellent bilingual communication and interpersonal skills both in Korean and English
o Must be able to learn and regularly operate various computer systems across different platforms
o Must be able to work on weekends when required by Company
