Infoquest Information Services is hiring a Surveillance Investigator in the Columbus, OH area. Infoquest is a Columbus, Ohio based investigative firm established in 1994 specializing in investigative solutions for workers’ compensation claims professionals and insurance carriers. Ideal candidates required Duties and Qualifications, and Possesses: · An Ohio Private Investigator License with at least one-year of experience in investigations. (Preferred but not required and we are willing to train) · Criminal Justice or related degree. · Ability to operate a camera and capture surveillance video. · A PC/laptop and the technical expertise to upload video to a secure company website. · Videotaping subjects, vehicles, and establishments, and using discretion in order not to arouse the suspicion of the subjects or others who are in the general area at the time. · Collecting and documenting information related to subjects. · Training in covert techniques. · Documenting subject activities without detection and preparing detailed record logs showing data as to times, places, activities and related information. · Readiness to travel frequently to fulfill investigative assignments. · Willing and able to accept assignments indoors, outdoors and in a wide range of weather conditions and situations. · Conduct surveillance for eight or more hours on a given day. Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, odd hours and extended shifts as necessary and can travel to distant locations with occasional overnight stays occasionally. · Ability to exhibit considerable patience. · Detailed observation abilities. · Ability to think quickly on one’s feet. · Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via email, phone, or text. · Exceptional attention to detail at all times and remaining attentive throughout long periods of inactivity. · Ability to blend into a crowd to observe and document subject activity. · Reliable non-distinct vehicle.
