Job Description
The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for managing assigned accounts within the geographic territory of San Diego, Murrieta, Temecula, Hemet, Riverside, and Moreno Valley. You will be in charge of building and maintaining relationships with our clients. You will be providing trials and in-servicing our products to current and potential customers. The sales rep is responsible for driving sales growth by developing, maintaining and advancing accounts by regularly contacting and visiting assisted living, home health, hospice, memory care and skilled nursing facilities, private clinics, and all other potential facilities Innovamed may cater to.
Job Responsibilities
Training with upper management to become an expert in products, client promotions, and develop skills in customer acquisition
Identifying and partnering with new and existing clients to grow the book of business
Providing a high level of service unique to every individual
Utilizing product knowledge and providing expert advice to resolve questions regarding our brand and mission
Providing in-service training and product demonstrations
Customizing our client’s packages with competitive pricing based on industry trends
Collaborating in person, either one-on-one or in a team setting, to enhance marketing strategies
Contributing innovative marketing ideas and sales tactics to the marketing team
Effectively close sales in designated territory
Utilizing our CRM system and other technology to manage and track efforts
Traveling to territory locations to meet with clients face-to-face
Managing emails and other communications timely
Required Skills/Abilities
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Effective writing, speaking, presenting, and active listening skills
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with management, team members, clients, and customers where applicable
Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
Understanding of industry’s best practices
Creativity, adaptability, and familiarity with current marketing trends
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
Project management skills, like goal-setting and deadline management
Great organization, time management, and prioritization abilities
Comfortable in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
