    INTECON is looking to immediately add a SYSTEMS ANALYST II within the NC3 Enterprise Center at USSTRATCOM at FT Meade, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award. In support of the NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Division, personnel shall provide support for the Enterprise Sustainment & Evolution branch and the Enterprise Mission Management branch in the following areas: Program and Mission Management, Configuration Management, Technical Standards, Mission Engineering Analysis, Evolution, and Architecture.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    SYSTEMS ENGINEERING – TECHNICAL STANDARDS

    • Advise and assist the Government in the development, maintenance, and publishing of NEC Technical Standards Plan. Plan shall include the roles/responsibilities and process (on/off ramps) for developing and publishing technical standards, including specifications and protocols, for the NC3 Enterprise. Additionally, it shall include how to propose a new standard and how/where that connects to the CM Plan/Process.
    • Maintain NC3 Enterprise Technical Standards Roadmap.
    • Participate in the development of interface and interoperability standards/specifications for focused improvement toward Next Gen; publish specifications, applications within the NC3 architecture (including models), and expected benefits (e.g., based on simulation results).
    • Support the development and publish transition orders and plans for focused improvement towards Next Gen; oversee / track enterprise execution (includes advisory role within CM/CC process).

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Shall be a US Citizen
    • At least three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience with the NEC.
    • At least three (3) years of demonstrated relevant experience with and/or education in communication principles and theory in NC3 systems.
    • At least two years of program management experience in the following:
    • Formulating/defining system scope and objectives for assigned projects.
    • Devising and/or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
    • Preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
    • Managing program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
    • Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
    • Has good understanding of the business or function for which applications is designed.

    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Special Access Required (SAR) classified material, Communications Security (COMSEC) Information, Restricted Data (RD), Formally Restricted Data (FRD), Critical Nuclear Weapon Design Information (CNWDI), and Foreign Government.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must possess a BS or BA in Engineering.
