    We have a new opportunity for a talented PMO PROJECT MANAGEMENT ANALYST to join our team! 

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Provide Branch level and Program level PMO support
    • Support various Integrated Project Teams (IPT) by developing agenda, documeting meeting minutes, resolving action items and supporting IPT Lead as needed on various tasks
    • Ability to develop point papers, breifing materials, graphical presentations, marketing materials, and to make formal oral presentations of these materials to all levels of government personnel
    • Coordinate monthly O&M releases by managing release scope (Notice of Intent to Release) and board approval
    • Monitor project schedule activities in MS Project
    • Coordinate with development vendors to ensure activities are on schedule. Identify course correction activities if critical path is impacted.
    • Maintain risk artifacts (risk management plan, risk register, burndown)
    • Identify program risks and review with IT PMs and Contractor Leads
    • Facilitate program level risk meetings
    • Respond to and manage data calls from stakeholders – DHS, Congress
    • Identify opportunities to improve business processes
    • Support Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) activities
    • Provide oversight during contract execution by monitoring program and project performance and mitigating performance gaps
    • Creating, submitting, tracking and reporting status on IT Acquisition Requests (ITAR), IT Service Requests (ITSR) and IT Change Request (ITCR) as needed for acquisition support

    To be successful in this role as a PMO PROJECT MANAGEMENT ANALYST with IOP, candidates MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE
    • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of professional work experience or Master’s with 4 years of professional work experience (preferably in Acquisitions or Contracting)
    • 2-4 years of professional work experience in contract management, financial management, or other program mangement discipline 
    • Ability to work on client site (Crystal City) four-five days a week
    • Proven ability to use all Microsoft Office tools
    • Excellent client presentation and written communication skills
    • Must be able to work in a team environment

    The following attributes are HIGHLY DESIRABLE for this position:

    • Active DHS Public Trust Clearance
    • PMP certified
    • CSM certification
    • PMO experience (2 years)
    • PMO experience supporting an agile program
    • JIRA reporting and analysis
    • Knowledge of Systems development lifecycles – waterfall, agile, kanban
    • Familiarity with Big Data and/or Business Analytics projects
    • Familiarity with Cloud environments
