Role: Radiology Technologist Location: Richmond, VA Duration: Full Time
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, PET scans, and mammography
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions they may have
Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to ensure high-quality images are captured
Review images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret images
Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures
EDUCATION
REQUIRED: Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology. Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: (required) Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technology (within 6 months of hire) Required: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider Preferred: Society of Radiologic Technology Preferred: Virginia Society of Radiologic Technology
