Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
· The Territory Manager will be responsible for helping the company to grow the sales in the assigned territory by bringing our brands to new regional accounts and growing the existing customers.
· The Territory Manager will manage the current team of sales representatives and brokers and will hire new ones to expand the distribution to new areas.
· The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing, planning and executing sales strategies in order to achieve or exceed the sales and profit goals.
JOB DETAILS
· Managing the sales in the territory by executing the business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
· Meeting/Exceeding planned sales goals while maintaining a close relationship with stores and distributor buyers in order to boost sales.
· Plan meetings and trips when necessary to guarantee the visits of each client, in order to ensure proper business relationships.
· Keep distributor inventories updated and available, in order to guarantee proper stock and increase the sales on low rotation items.
· Tracking Dsd sales goals and reporting results as necessary while overseeing territorial sales, promotions and campaigns.
· Identify and manage leads in the category of territorial accounts while maintaining our CRM tools up to date.
· Manage current relationship with local accounts, including planning and execution of demos and in store promotions.
· Effectively managing brokers to reach the sales goals and suggesting the hiring
of new brokers.
REQUIREMENTS
· Hold a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, or other related degrees.
· Written and verbal fluency in English and Spanish.
· Three (3) or more years of experience in managing and directing a sales team as well as regional accounts.
· Strong desire to actively pursue and secure new business.
· Knowledge of the Hispanic specialty food and beverage network of retailers, distributors and brokers.
· Ability to plan and execute business development strategies.
· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Confidence with public speaking and excellent verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in the usage of MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel packages.
JOB TYPE: Full time LOCATION: South Carolina, North Carolina to Washington with proximity to a major airport. This will be a remote working from a home office position, and you can anticipate traveling approximately 40 - 60% (depending on time of year).
