Job Summary

We are seeking a INVENTORY ASSOCIATE to join our team. In this role, you will offboard and transport products to our company freezers. This position requires a dedication to safety. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to maximize efficiency by ensuring that materials and products are always in the right location at the right time. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a Forklift Operator IDEALLY and an excellent safety record. Required experience in food warehousing and comfortable working in and out of refrigeration/freezer units - certification preferred, 5 years' experience in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

Move pallets and crates from one location to another

Monitor products for damages, shortages, or quality control issues and report on those issues

Unload products from incoming trucks and relocate them to the appropriate places as needed.

Help to maintain accurate inventory counts

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, legal guidelines, and company policies

Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is highly desired

Valid forklift certification, preferred or 5 years experience

High school diploma/GED

Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Professional references required

Steady work history required
