Job Description

We are seeking for an enthusiastic R&D Chemist intern to join our state-of-the-art Research & Development facility during this summer of 2022. This internship position will expose the candidate to concepts and practices of new product development, raw material analyses, and will help you grow your professional skills and broaden your experience as you contribute to our strong knowledge based R&D team.

TO DEVELOP YOUR ACTIVITIES AND IMPROVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Evaluating Raw Materials in finished formulations
• Analyzing Raw Materials by GC/MS, FTIR, DSC
• Performing other duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications

TO BE CONSIDERED TO THIS OPPORTUNITY, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

• Have 3 years of undergraduate studies completed in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with an average minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
• Have completed scientific laboratory classes
• Have excellent written, reading comprehension and good math skills
• Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs
• Apply strong analytical skills

Additional Information

THIS IS A PAID INTERNSHIP ON A HOURLY RATE OF $18 PER HOUR, 40 HOURS A WEEK. 

Work will start in June 2022 and end in August 2022.
