    Based in Staten Island New York, this full-service on-premise Catering and Restaurant group is looking for a dynamic, experienced Catering Sales Manager to add to their team.

    The Catering Event Planner is responsible for proactively selling wedding, social and corporate events to meet & exceed sales goals. In addition, this position is responsible for soliciting, negotiating and booking new/repeat business.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Increase outside sales; proactively solicits new business

    Manage sales reporting and prospecting function as directed

    Communicate with and provide direction & supervision to the catering team members to execute events

    Produces and manages sales based on leads via incoming phone calls, email inquiries, or referrals to convert to a sale

    Identify, qualify and solicit new catering business to exceed revenue goals

    Works directly with clients & wedding planners to gather necessary information for menu planning, floor plan, room set up, timelines, rental orders, decor, cost and billing details and any other requirements pertinent to their event in a timely manner and assist with those items as necessary

    Creates BEOs for distribution, leads BEO meeting pertaining to their own events.

    Responsible for follow-up circulation and timely communication with all departments

    Responsible for the final BEO and final payment

    May be required to complete additional tasks as necessary

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    3 Years or more of catering sales experience

    2 Years Previous Wedding Sales experience

    Experience with Caterease and ACT

    Excellent time management skills

    Strong organizational skills

    Strong customer service orientation and skills

    Self-motivated and results oriented
