REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate degree or an advanced degree in a technological or scientific field is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate would have experience, or a strong interest in developing experience, in representing clients in all stages of patent, trademark, trade secrets, and other intellectual property litigation. Examples of relevant experience include:

• Early case assessment and investigations, including accused products and prior art analysis

• Drafting invalidity and infringement claim charts and assisting with contentions

• Drafting pleadings and motions, including handling related meet-and-confers

• Preparing and responding to written discovery and working with e-discovery tools and vendors

• Managing complex discovery and discovery negotiations

• Preparing claim construction briefs and hearing materials

• Working with experts on reports and testimony

• Preparing deposition outlines and exhibits

The candidate must have a very strong academic record as well as outstanding organizational, communication and writing skills.
