IPC-A-610 Certified PCBA Inspector @ Plano, TX (1099 Contractors)
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily final inspection of PCBA assemblies
Identify solder defects, polarity issues, component damage, contamination, and workmanship nonconformities
Inspect circuit boards per IPC-A-610 criteria
Record all defects using client templates
Report findings daily
Must be able to work independently on-site
Industry Experience/ Technical Experience:
MANDATORY: Valid IPC-A-610 Certification (CIS or CIT)
Additional IPC (J-STD-001) is a bonus but not required
Must understand Class 2/3 acceptability criteria
Ability to read PCB drawings, BOMs, and visual standards
Proficiency with microscopes, magnifiers, and inspection tools
Experience with defect identification, reporting, and documentation
Electronics manufacturing
Experience inspecting SMT, THT, solder joints, polarity, component alignment, and reflow workmanship
PCB Assembly (PCBA), SMT production, reflow soldering, quality inspection
EMS environments (Celestica, Flex, Jabil, Creation, Benchmark, etc.)
Minimum 2–3 years PCBA inspection experience & experience inspecting SMT, THT, solder joints, polarity, component alignment, and reflow workmanship
Job Type: 1099 Contract (Part Time) Start Date: ASAP. Client will start the project immediately once inspectors are confirmed
Project Duration: in a 1099 Contract, Project duration varies. CURRENT PROJECT Approximately 3 months; Monday–Friday(full-time daily presence); Estimated 66 business days total
Shift Hours: Shift Hours varies in a 1099 Contract; CURRENT PROJECT is ranging between 4-8 hours a day Ability to commute to Plano, TX 75074, USA (and other Texas areas after current Project completion in future)
