Regional Director of Operations

Reporting to the SVP Operations, the Regional Director of Operations (RDO) is a key leadership position managing all aspects of Operations including Guest Experience, Team Relations, P&L and building maintenance.
Each IPIC property has a Senior General Manager who reports to the RDO; Sr. GMs manage the Theater, Restaurant and HOH team on site. The RDO is the primary decision maker responsible for translating strategy into action at the site level. The RDO holds others accountable to IPIC standards and implements best in class practices for site profitability and membership loyalty.

Responsibilities:
Communicate and influence site leaders to consistently meet all operational goals
Monitor and coach site leaders in conjunction with Home Office staff on key business issues related to membership and loyalty program, guest experience, talent management, team member engagement, policies and procedures, P&L and inventory
Assume financial leadership for the region including full regional P&L ownership, regional budgets & forecasts
Standardize & optimize inventory and purchasing activities to maximize gross profit, recommend profitability improvements across controllable operating expense lines
Partner with Senior General Management, Film, and Marketing functions to recommend key revenue drivers for regional growth
Identify root cause problems and implement innovative solutions for guest complaints, team member issues, financial performance improvements, troubleshooting and resolving equipment/facility issues
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Hospitality Management
3 years’ multi-site experience or 5 years’ experience in large, complex operations with strong focus on food and beverage program, hospitality, and brand management
Track record of success in developing, mentoring and motivating managers and team with bias for action, high energy level and desire to succeed
Demonstrated judgment, decision making, and conflict resolution skills with guests, team members, and peers
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, solid executive presence, self-confidence, and professional maturity
High emotional intelligence and an inspiring leader
Ability to travel frequently to sites within region
