    Beverage Manager

    The Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior General Manager in managing daily operations including maintaining different areas of operations, inventory, ordering and supplies, selecting, training and developing Team Members. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining profitability and quality control as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures. They are to create guest memories through effective leadership of theater, restaurant, and bar operations. Blends management skills, business acumen, teaching skills, and a hospitality mindset to drive business results while building a high-performing team.

    Responsibilities:

    Works closely with the Sr. General Manager and Assistant General Manager to support an environment committed to outstanding Guest Experiences; run pre-shift meetings to maintain guest focus at all times.

    Interact with guests in a welcoming manner; resolve guest issues and escalate as needed to other managers.

    Coordinate with Theater, Bar and Restaurant team to ensure quality expectations are met in beverage preparation and presentation; focus on motivating bartenders to prepare menu items in consistent manner.

    Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training hourly restaurant bar team.

    Maximize revenue and increase average-spend per person through up-selling, and commitment to guest service standards.

    Work with Sr. General Manager to ensure proper beverage training sessions and tastings are conducted quarterly.

    Responsible for maintaining inventory, organization of all beverage areas, achieving budgeted goals for beverage cost of goods sold.

    Assist with managing different areas such as Box Office, Service and Bar.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, preferably in Hospitality Management.

    3 years of experience in large, complex restaurant operation with strong focus on high volume food and beverage.

    In-depth knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and other drink ingredients.

    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, self-confidence, and professional maturity.

    Must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and achieving excellence at every level.

    Solid judgment, decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

    Stable and progressive work history. Track record of success with bias for action, high energy level and desire to succeed.

    Position will require frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

    Provide leadership to team, using interpersonal and communication skills to teach, influence, and encourage others.

    Identifies the developmental needs of others by assessing skills and results; teach team members to prepare menu items with complete training on ingredients, preparation methods, and unique tastes.

    Good listener, patient in stressful situations and genuine in desire to resolve issues.

    Qualified to demonstrate proper preparation/cooking techniques for junior team members in need of hands-on instruction; firm but fair in providing feedback and communicating expectations.

    Demonstrate sound financial/business decision making using honesty and high integrity at all times.
