MSP Systems Administrator
IPRO is an established and growing MSP and VoIP Cloud hosting provider. We are looking for an experienced person for our MSP division who can think on their feet, take charge, and get a problem solved.
IPRO’s MSP division serves as the “IT Department” for many small to medium businesses nationwide, primarily in the DFW area. We have a small team, but we are growing rapidly. As the IT Department for many companies, you will assist with a variety of challenges and solutions daily.
As an MSP Systems Administrator your duties will include but are not limited to:
· Troubleshooting of Microsoft products: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Microsoft 365, Firewalls, Switches, Access Points; VMWare: vSphere and Horizon, AWS, and Azure.
· Assisting and mentoring Help Desk technicians.
· Handling helpdesk ticket escalations.
· Helping develop new processes to make our support team more efficient.
· Creating and maintaining technical support and end-user support documentation
· Project-specific work for onboarding, installation, and upgrade of MSP customers to meet their needs.
· Utilizing automation tools to make repetitive tasks more efficient.
· Working with IPRO staff, customers, vendors, and customer vendors (technical).
· Using RMM tools to fix customer issues remotely. (internal and external)
· On-site customer visits, when necessary, less than 10% (long-distance travel may be required)
· Some after-hours maintenance and project work are expected.
· On-Call rotation*
Experience Required:
· Outstanding customer service skills
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Agile thinking to allow for an array of solutions to fit our customers’ needs
· Detail-oriented and follow-up focused
· 3+ years in an MSP Help desk role or equivalent.
· 5+ years in IT support
· 5+ years’ Experience in deployment, administration, and troubleshooting Windows 7-11, Microsoft 365 administration
· 2+ years’ Experience in deployment, administration, and troubleshooting Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
· 2+ years’ Experience in deployment, administration, and troubleshooting Enterprise Firewalls, Enterprise Switches, Enterprise WIFI, VPNs
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Products. Specifically, Server 2016-2022, Windows 10/11, and O365
· Strong Active Directory knowledge
· Skilled in Network troubleshooting

· VMWare vSphere, VMWare Horizon, Veeam, VDI infrastructure, SANs
· Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
· Azure, Azure AD, AWS
· Fortinet networking products, PFSense firewalls, HPE/ Aruba networking products
· ConnectWise Automate, ConnectWise Manage, SharePoint
· PowerShell
· Linux, BSD, macOS, Andriod, iOS

As the MSP division grows the responsibilities and expectations of this role may change too..
*Currently there is no On-Call rotation; After-Hours calls are few and far between. Currently being taken by management and being triaged by whoever is available; A dedicated On-Call rotation is planned for the near future and is planned to be handled by the Help Desk and Systems Administrators.
**Note, the Salary range posted is the typical range for a Systems Engineer, however depending on your skill set, availability, and willingness to grow your skills, it may be outside this range. IPRO has been in the Cloud VoIP business for over 15 years, but about 4 years ago we started getting into providing full MSP services. We are a small company with a solid customer base, and we are rapidly growing the MSP division of our company and need good people. We pride ourselves on being open to new ideas, and input is encouraged. We are the IT and voice company for many small to medium-sized businesses; with a few large companies sprinkled in for good measure. With a lot of new clients in the pipeline, we are growing our MSP support, administration, and engineering staff to stay ahead of the curve.
