Professional security firm currently seeking an immediate full time HIGH-END SECURITY OFFICER for our JERSEY CITY , NJ locations.

WEEKENDS/WEEKDAYS  - 4 PM - 12 AM

Previous security experience is a plus however, those with customer service and/or retail background are encouraged to apply. A REFINED, PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AND POSITIVE DISPOSITION ARE ESSENTIAL.

Interviews will be by appointment only. PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE IS REQUIRED.

COMPENSATION: $11 HOURLY PAY RATE (WEEKLY PAY)

DUTIES:

• Act as a courteous and professional greeter to all staff and guests
• Be aware of and acknowledge both verbally and non-verbally (body posturing/eye contact/smile) all who enter the property
• Provide building specific direction/information to staff and guests
• Issue and collect daily access passes to all guests
• Perform limited foot patrol of interior areas of assigned location
• Observe and report suspicious activities and persons to security staff
• Communicate relative information with the client in a concise, professional manner

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER
• S.O.R.A. CERTIFIED
• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WALK AND/OR STAND DURING A SCHEDULED SHIFT
• MUST HAVE EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• ABILITY TO COURTEOUSLY GREET AND DIRECT GUESTS TO THEIR APPROPRIATE DESTINATION
• MAINTAIN A NEAT, PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT APPEARANCE
• MAINTAIN COMPANY PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
