    Job Description

    The IT Specialist will provide support to IPT Global as part of the overall IT team. Much of this role will involve performing system administration, maintenance, customer support, and tasks directly aligned to desktop systems and servers.

    • IT Administration:
      • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
      • Implement and oversee security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of company data.
      • Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
      • Build images and refresh desktops and laptops.
      • Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions to help resolve problems.
      • Maintain and enhance the AD infrastructure to meet compliance requirements.
      • Support AV throughout office (conference rooms, RTO, executives)
      • Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting rig environments that will include servers, switches, and other networking equipment.
    • Customer Support:
      • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating when necessary.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
      • Responsible for IT-related queries, event tickets, over the phone and email and provide them the required information.
    • Project Management Support:
      • Work directly with IT Manager on project development and implementation.
      • Delivery technical and process driven solutions for best practices in IT
      • Understand ITIL methodology on solution development and implementation
    • Documentation:
      • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
      • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices.
      • Maintain thorough ticketing documentation of incidents and request
    • Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and support new technologies
      • Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions accordingly
      • Participate in developing, recommending, and establishing policies and procedures as needed.
      • Assist with security related tasks, including building access, audits, updates, and investigations
      • All other duties as assigned (we help where needed)
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Multiple industry certifications accepted in lieu of degree)
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in IT system administration and customer support roles
    • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security best practices
    • Advanced computer hardware troubleshooting abilities
    • Advanced windows operating systems knowledge (Office 365, Win 10+)
    • Good understanding of security controls and concepts
    • Experience leading small projects, investigating new technology, and researching solutions
    • Full-time in-office presence required Monday thru Friday
    • Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends, as needed
