Job Description

Assist in managing company’s vendor relationships, issuing and tracking purchaser orders, ensuring that required material/supplies/tools is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule; expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.

• Have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Prefer 1 to 3-year experience in aerospace manufacturing machine shop preferred
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

• Regularly required to sit or stand and move around the facility
• May need to drive to order/pickup materials
• Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to perform repetitive motions; to sit, stand, talk, and/or hear
• Must be able to lift up to 10lbs as required
• May need to stand for long periods of time
• May required to work on concrete floors, wearing steel toe shoes and safety goggles
• 8 scheduled hours a day, five days a week. May work over-time if scheduled
