IQ Clarity's client, a dynamic and innovative financial institution, is looking for a Software Architect. This is a hybrid role based in Denver West.

Position Overview:

As a Sotware Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, and Design Patterns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting complex systems and a passion for staying at the forefront of technology trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design:

Design and implement scalable, high-performance software architectures using Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.

Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Technology Stack:

Expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, with a focus on developing scalable and maintainable applications.

Proficiency in designing and implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka.

Apply and promote the use of design patterns to ensure the reliability and flexibility of software solutions.

System Integration:

Collaborate with other architects and teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and systems.

Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for system integration.

Performance Optimization:

Conduct performance analysis and optimization of software solutions to ensure optimal efficiency and responsiveness.

Proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a focus on Java, Spring Framework, Kafka, and Design Patterns.

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
