    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Management Company Accountant to join our Alternative Investment Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting and financial reporting activities for our Management Company entities. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and experience in the alternative investment industry.

    Responsibilities :

    • Manage the accounting and financial reporting activities for our Management Company entities, including the preparation of interim and annual financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reporting
    • Manage the chart of accounts, payment and allocation of expenses including payroll and consolidate any subsidiaries
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulators
    • Monitor and reconcile cash flows, investment transactions, and other financial activities
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by the Investment Management team
    • Participate in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes
    • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record of managing teams of accountants across multiple entities and locations
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CPA) preferred
    • Five plus years of experience in accounting and financial reporting in the alternative investment industry
    • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations, particularly in relation to alternative investments (e.g. US GAAP, IFRS, AIFMD, UCITS, IFRS)
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
