Specific Job Responsibilities: Responsible for overall management control of the program and ensuring it completes the required product system and associated deliverables on time and within budget.
The Journeyman Project Manager plans, organizes, and directs all program-level activities. The Journeyman Project Manager ensures that the objectives of the program are accomplished within the contract terms and conditions. The Journeyman Project Manager develops detailed work plans, schedules, program estimates, and resource plan tracking while reviewing all deliverables and providing technical and analytical guidance to the program.
The Journeyman Project Manager shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters relating to the daily operation of this contract. The Journeyman Project Manager shall coordinate program activities with the Government. The program activities include, but are not limited to, the following: technical activities, deliverables, and meetings. Ideally, the Journeyman Project Manager shall have an established standing in the Contractor’s organization sufficient to effectively engage the resources of that organization in support of the contract.
Functions of this role shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create and maintain Master Program Schedule
Ensure compliance with the Master Program Schedule
Set up communication vehicles
Manage teams and interfaces effectively
Manage risks
Required Qualifications/Skills:
A bachelor’s degree required in information technology (IT), engineering, computer science, information sciences, or other field germane to the duties of the position or equivalent in experience and expertise
Five (5) or more years of program management experience in DOD, IC, or Department of Justice (DOJ) information technology fields or an equivalent mix of managerial and technical experience at a Government site.
One (1) or more years of experience with Jira.
Experience integrating with FBI enterprise.
