    Skills/Requirements: The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience preferably working on civil and commercial lawsuits in state and federal courts. Candidates should have excellent research and writing skills and want to work directly with clients and firm shareholders on all phases of a matter. Because of our Firm's size, associates enjoy direct client contact and the opportunity to have hands-on litigation experience. Successful candidates are those who see themselves becoming a shareholder of the firm and managing clients on their own. We provide excellent legal services and we value strong collaboration, creating authentic connections with clients, colleagues and the communities we serve. Candidates should possess strong academic credentials from a nationally accredited law school and should be motivated, hard-working, creative problem-solvers with the ability to work independently while also having strong interpersonal skills. Successful attorneys will have the opportunity to work with a Firm that has a long history of tackling complex legal issues, setting precedents, and helping lay the groundwork for our communities to thrive. Attorneys have the opportunity of working from home several days a week, with scheduled weekly in-person attendance and meetings required. Candidates should be located anywhere near one of the Firm's three office locations: Denver, Ft. Collins and Grand Junction. Colorado bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission) is required. $140,000 - $160,000 annual salary, depending upon experience, with bonus potential. Responsibilities: • Work will include participation in internal and client strategy discussions • Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, written discovery, and jury instructions • Taking and defending depositions; and appearing in court for hearings and trials Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate degree • Valid license to practice law in Colorado • Valid license to drive in Colorado and satisfactory driving record • The ability to use or learn various software programs including but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, time entry software, legal research software Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 salary DOE
