INSURANCE RECEPTIONIST, ASSISTANT

ASTORIA, NY

Based in Astoria, NY this position will be a Receptionist / Assistant / CSR to a small office handling personal and commercial lines. This position will be full time in office. Willing to train if you have some insurance experience and possess a notary or willing to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

· Receptionist, assist agents with personal and commercial lines, set up and organize appointments, respond to client requests

· Processing endorsement and other requests

· Preparing and submitting billing requests for renewal or endorsements

· Issue various notices to clients including required workers compensation postings

· Assist with preparing reports for clients

· Working with agency AMS/TAMS or possessing any other type of insurance automation experience

· Renewal and policy mailings using automated system

· Other as necessary

REQUIRED

· Active notary or willingness to obtain designation

· Insurance experience a must

· Ability to speak articulately by phone and possess pleasant client demeanor

· Microsoft skills, word, excel, etc.

· Good typing and grammar skills for issuing various communications and notices when necessary
