Irish Gold Management is looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Tech who is ready to grow with an amazing company. Come work with a company that is growing quickly and is invested in you.
Responsibilities:
● Complete all work order requests in a timely fashion, billing hours and supplies back through Meld before closing the work order.
● Estimate time and extent of repairs
● Perform routine preventive maintenance
● Maintain material and supply inventory
● Be on call for nights and weekends as schedule requires
● Navigate operating software and meet the minimal set billable hours
● Staying within the provided budget and providing variance explanations when necessary.
● Maintain resident relations for maximum occupancy, lease renewals, and property engagement.
● Coordinate necessary repairs with other company maintenance techs and vendors as needed.
● Schedules and completes preventative maintenance needs as communicated from the Maintenance Supervisor.
● Complies with all Fair Housing guidelines.
● Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor of Irish Gold.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
● Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
● Ability to handle physical workload.
● Be able to lift 75# without assistance
● Work on ladders without fear up to 22'
● Be able to work in colder and warmer conditions at all tines of the year.
● Have a valid Driver License
● Have a reliable vehicle to haul personal tools
● Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
● Must have a carpentry background with a minimal knowledge of framing
● Repair flooring, walls and ceiling framing, door and window installation
● Electrical - Wire outlets, switches, lights, run new Romex into box and wall/ceiling locations
● Plumbing - Repair copper, CPVC, PVC, lines. Install toilet flanges and repair sink drains and supply lines
● Light Roofing and siding - Vinyl siding, metal siding, asphalt roof repairs, shingle boot install
