IRL is looking to work with a versatile designer who is fluent in web and marketing design with an understanding of UX and customer journeys. You'll be working on sprints to optimize the web product of our platform, generate marketing and press materials, and improve the visual identity of the company.

• A portfolio that reflects your strengths in both UX and visual design skills
• Addicted to staying ahead of desktop and mobile best practices, trends, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional design on the fundamentals of effective web design: typography, color, composition, rhythm, and form
• Knowledge of web accessibility
• At least 5+ years of experience with interaction and visual design for web-based experiences and applications
• Advanced knowledge of Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience crafting animations for Lottie Airbnb framework
• Experience with hi-fidelity visual concepts and interactive prototypes
• Experience with information architecture
• Experience designing for responsive and mobile design
• Illustration capabilities is a plus
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Ability to move in fast start-up environment 
• Experience crafting icons
• Excellent file and asset organization 
• Experience in brand design

DUTIES INCLUDE: 

• High fidelity wireframes for responsive web, marketing assets (apparel, PR, etc) and email campaigns
• Ability to conceptualize web features and collaborate with engineers on implementation 
• Ability to understand and improve on customer journey inside a feature and throughout platform
• Fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple interfaces
• Work with others to meet goals and complete tasks
• Pair with designers and engineers to ideate and implement designs

• Illustration and animation proficiency 
• Experience with brand design
