Our focus is Hospital, Biotech, Microelectronic, Military/Gov't, and large scale General Commercial construction. ISAT has an excellent opportunity for a Jr Engineer. ISAT's Jr Engineers are tasked with representing ISAT as a consultant and material supplier for the MEP design/build team on large-scale construction projects. ISAT provides cost-effective engineering designs for the seismic bracing and support of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing utilities. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Custom Engineering Support - Assist the technical support and engineers in creating custom engineering details and calculations for review and stamp by a Professional Engineer.
• Typical seismic support scenarios include shaft risers, wall mounts, frames, supplemental beams, vibration isolation mounts, anchorage of equipment, and vertical supports for MEP utilities.
• Technical support for ISAT's services and systems
• Creating/modifying details using Revit/AutoCAD
• Develop a thorough understanding of seismic Building Code requirements as they pertain to non-structural systems
• Problem-solving seismic bracing conditions and providing assistance to co-workers and clients on the phone, in person, or in writing.

Qualifications:

• Prefer candidates who have a degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering or a minimum of 3yrs related work experience.
• Construction Management or Industrial Engineering degrees will also be considered.
• Not required, but special consideration will be given to candidates with a working understanding of the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and/or Fire Protection systems, basic construction, engineering terms, and trade-specific experience. Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks knowledge is a plus.
• RISA experience is a plus The successful candidate must also pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical and drug test, and have a valid driver's license.
