PURPOSE/SUMMARY:

Join ISAT Total Support as a BIM Modeler and contribute to cutting-edge projects in virtual design and construction. As a key member of our VDC team, you will utilize your expertise in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit to create and coordinate 3D models of seismic systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring project accuracy, adherence to building codes, and efficient collaboration across project teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently model seismic systems in AutoCAD and coordinate in Navisworks.
• Create custom 3D parts, spooling files, dynamic blocks, and varied 3D parts and pieces.
• Build basic submittals using provided TDLF/SDF and project structural deck information.
• Generate legends using the legend builder for assigned projects, including complex legends.
• Produce accurate point load charts and parameters based on structural requirements.
• Identify ISAT, Caldyn, Miro, Unisource, and other hardware and understand their uses.
• Assist in ongoing development and improvement of technical support procedures and systems.
• Track multiple projects simultaneously and oversee work quality of assigned projects.
• Provide seismic bracing training and field support to installers, Junior PMs, and detailers.
• Understand building codes and apply knowledge to support project managers and detailers.
• Manage Retrofit projects, including coordination of site surveys and documentation generation.
• Possess working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit for CAD model program expertise.
• Understand advanced features of Navisworks and craft appropriate documents in response to SEOR/DSE comments.
• Assist with training new modelers and PMs in 3D modeling practices and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit.
• Strong understanding of building codes and engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Previous experience in BIM modeling or related field is preferred.
