    The Company

    EnGoPlanet is a well funded Award Winning Clean Energy Start-Up. The company was founded on a vision of delivering clean, managed “wireless energy” to meet the global need for reliable, low-cost solar power for street lighting, telecom, security, and IoT devices, as well as other mission-critical systems.

     

    The company has recently completed a Series A investment led by Sallyport Holdings, who have billions of dollars worth of exits under their belt, and are actively involved, young, and ready to support high-growth technology companies like EngoPlanet. You’ll be standing shoulder to shoulder with industry makers and company builders.

     

    Position

    EnGoPlanet is in search of a highly organized, efficient, and dedicated Office Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing administrative support, and enhancing our organizational processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks, providing excellent administrative support, and creating a positive work environment for our employees.

     

    What You Will Do

    • Oversee daily office operations and manage office supplies inventory and maintenance.
    • Coordinate office administrative procedures, effectively organizing and streamlining systems and resources.
    • Schedule meetings and appointments, providing logistical support to ensure smooth operations.
    • Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail.
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing workspaces and coordinating orientation schedules.
    • Develop and implement office policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed by staff.
    • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure operational cohesion.
    • Manage office budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Organize company events or meetings as required.
    • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and service providers.
    • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and functional.

     

    What You Will Need to Succeed

    • Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant.
    • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
    • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
    • High School diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus, but an undergraduate degree is not required.
